Vegas!

Wowie Maui to all my thirsty tyrannosauruses out there! Well a week ago (or longer, I've finally found a computer to blog on...) I went to Vegas for my aunt barb's 50 BIRTHDAY PAR-TAY! (I don't know if it's safe that I put her age on here, but I'm willing to take the risk!) (People like me gotta live dangerously!) Well, upon our Vegas arrival, We got to go on the new bridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it was LAME! I couldn't see one bit of Nevada's beloved hydroelectricity provider (the hover dam) (which thanks to social studies class last year I know is named after president hoover) Well, anyways after a long ride of listening to my sister yap on and on about things that have nominal significance and lack any mentally stable person's attention My little Maddie ears hurt from having to listen to my ipod for 6 hours straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After arriving at the Rio hotel, my only desire was to eat a 5 star meal, sleep in a King size bed and eat a couple of pillow chocolates, Pretty reasonable right? But NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! We spent like 6 minutes in the elevator trying to get to our room, and when we walked in, I would've sworn we were in a house! Probably because the room was BIGGER than my house. At first i was Incredibly impressed, then saddened by the fact that it was bigger than my house, (are we really that poor) Hahahahah Just kidding........ But seriously. The room was 3 beautiful stories and had 2 JACUZZIS! (one in which I took a lovely relaxing bath) And because I don't want to brag I'll just say we had a very lovely dovely night! Next morning We got up and decided to go out riding the New York New York Roller coaster which was rather fun except for the first time when my sister's phone fell off and I had to deal with the waterworks, which is absolutely no competition for the Belagio! :) After that we rode it about 20 more times, meeting others from lands far and wide! That night we ate at a lovely buffet where I had a very jolly time with my beautiful family! I was then shipped off to my cousin Jeven's house where we spent the night watching Phineas and Ferb in their Casida! Fun times! :) The next morning was My dearest aunt Barb's Birthday party!!!!!!!!!!!! (me, being the Par-tay animal I am, was prepared for a giant festivity, thinking that turning 50 is a humongous deal, well apparently not!) It was a very good party, My aunt jen went above and beyond decorating and preparing food, it had amazing potential to be the most epic birthday party ever, but I guess no one else thought running around screaming the lyrics to taylor Swift songs was a jolly trolley time!!! (they missed out) Singing about boys that break your heart is definitely a great way to spend a Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!! Well, After the giant festivities my little maddie body couldn't stand it and I crashed pretty early!!!!! That's what i get for being 5'5 and as thin as a post (oh the prices I pay). Well, anyways, Here are some pictures of my Awesome Possum time! Much Much Much Much Maddie Love, Maddie :)

AWARENESS DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He he he to all the huffing hippos in the zoo cage sea! Well to today tis Friday, a grand day of the week! Actually, it was pretty incredible if y'all ask me. Today was my pod's awareness day :) It's this magical day when my fellow classmates and I get together and talk about our feelings. Now normally I only have one feeling, a feeling I feel is universal........... happiness. Well apparently I'm the only one who feels this way because everyone is so sad and depressed on the inside! It just breaks my little Maddie heart! Lots of kids that I've known forever, am really close with, or kids I barely knew before today are so much more than I think they are and I was shocked to know what some of them go through.
It really opened my eyes and made me see how lucky i am to not have the worries or be in the situations of my peers. (normally) I try to keep my blog as happy and entertaining as possible and keep the writing a bit childish but I'm serious about how amazing today was. Kids in my small group actually feel like my family now and have given me a whole new appreciation for my home life, my friends, and my family who treat me right, respect me, and give me the love and support I need.

Sitting there in group today I see how truly lucky I am because a lot of kids don't have what I have and it absolutely kills me to know that. In fact, the cool thing is that after we finished up and went back to our classrooms, kids treated each other differently. People were talking to people they didn't normally talk to, a lot of people were nicer to one and other and everyone seemed like they walked away with something. I know I had made at least 2 new friends. It was probably one of the most touching experiences of my life, and I will never forget how incredible it was, and what it taught me. So with that I say...........Much Much Much Much Maddie Love, Maddie :)

(ps. you should all be very proud that I learned how to use paragraphs! :) )

Just another manic friday!

Sup to all my pretty pufferfishies out there! Today is FRIDAYYYYYYY! Which means that the cafeteria has PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICHES!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPIE KI YAY! But truthfully, that's not what made my day so........blog worthy......... Well it's mainly because I had a honey bunches os fun today! In math, Kelly and  did math, kinda lame right?! Well wrong, because it just so happened to be a beautiful bestest buddie bonding time! Social studies was awfully lame as we had a texan sub who made us read about phillup malloy humming to the star spangled banner and didn't pick my name to read EVEN ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dare she deprive my class the beauty of my angelic voice? (sick twisted people should not be temporal educators!) It makes my little maddie face red with maddie rage (the most deadly kind of rage there is) (and why yes, I do pride myself on that) Science was.......... interesting. Jenny and i sang several taylor swift songs and made graphs of our data so it was a pretty easy going class! Academic lab sent me back to the evil Texan sub but she did let me enjoy a game of silent ball! After that came lunch time wehre I nourished my little maddie stomach with a sammich and no milk, thanks to my bestest buddie lelly naumann who thought it would be so cool to hang on to my milk while I fought her for it and let it go all over ryan. ah, poor ryan! And then guess what comes?! LANGUAGE ARTS! Where something happened that is to horrifying to talk about on my blog and something I hope will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my seat buds know what happened lol) But we still had a jolly time playing spies in the library, well, until i did  a tuck and roll into a bookcase. After my head stopped throbbing pe was pretty funny because I got to show off my mad football skills! :) Then came the oh so lame and boring dance in which was stupid because they didn't play ONE HANNAH MONTANA SONG! And there was a ton of annoying people there acting like they were to cool for dances! But alas my night was saved when we decided to steal my neighbor's giant blow up green man and make them pay a Ransom of 2 popcorn bags to get it back, BTW the popcorn sucked. Well that was my super dooper jolly trolley day filled with joy and butterflies! Much Much Much Much Maddie Love, Maddie :)
